Mas. M. M. Amiionv. We do not- suppose there has been since the creation of the world a more favorable year, all things considered, than the present has been, so far, in Terrell county. The seasons have been all that could be desired. Wo have had but little sickness, and in every vase where crops have been properly cultivated the yield has surpassed the expectations of the most sanguine. Nor do we suppose there is any place on the face of the earth where a farmrs can reap a greater reward for a small outlay of labor and capital than right here in our own county. Our land is worth three or four dollars per acre, skillful and industrions farmers have harvested crops aggregating in value a thousand dollars or more to the plow. If ours is not a favored county we have never seen one. Those who do their own part here will surely reap a rich reward and if all understood their business as a few do this would soon become one of the richest countries in the world. It is cheerful to hear so many of our sub scribers, as they come in to pay the small sum due the printer, say that they are out of of debt for the first time in years. Several have so stated to us within the past few days, and then cheerful faces make us glad and hope ful for the future of our county. We hear no talk now of moving to Texas or anywhere else. Messrs. Rogers & luring again ask the attention of the trading public to their fine assortment of Dry Goods. Their stock of Ready-made Clothing, Boots, Shoes, etc., is speci ally complete and fine. They wish us, also, to call the attention of all the ladies of the town and country to their stock of Ladies’ Cloaks. The boys like to wait on the ladies and are specially prepared to please them in goods and prices. The acquisition of vital energy is the 'step ping stone to health. Appetite returns, the system is refresh ed by healthful slumber, the nerves grow strong and claim, tlse despondency begot ten of chronic iudigestion and an uncertain state of health disappears, and that sallow appearance of the skin peculiar to habitua invalids, and persons deficient in vital ener gv, is replaced by a more becoming tinge.
