A Tough One.
- The other day ene of our most
veracious citizen's, who is a mem
bur of the Young Men's Christain

a Congressman in Paris, and he
had never been there before. It is
the custom in that city when a
stageis full to put up the sign
complete, and no mora passengers
can get in. OQur Congressman
wanted to see everything, and as
these labelled stages would pass
him he would try to stop them, but
the driver would shake his head
and drive on.

said an English-speaking citizon,
who had watched his vain at empt.
“But I want one of them,” he
persisted.
“Take one of the others, wilh
fewer people in it. There's plen
tyof them,” urged the citizen.
“Yon goto thunder,” he said,
mngrily, “I guess I know what I
- want. I'm in this town to see the
sights. Everybody seems to be
going to Complete,axd I'm d—d if
1 ain't a going there, too, if I have
to wait a week to catch a "bus with
room in it for me. That’s the kind
of an American citizen I am and
