Death of Mrs. Mary E. Fulton.
Mrs. Mary E. Fulton, mother of
our esteemed fellow townsman,
Capt. Juo. A. Falton, died at her
home in this city last Sunday
night in her 81st year of age.
Mrs. Fulton was a most estima
bla christian lady and was muach
beloved by all Ler aeqiaintances.
Tuesday morning she was placed
at rest in the City Cemetery, Rev.
F. A. Bravch performing the last
sad rites.
Death.
Mr. Lee Thornton died at his
howe in this county lasi Thars
day night. Mr. Thornton, who
had beer in ill health for several
years with lang trouble, wasa
gentleman possessed of many
good. traits of charaeter and was
highly esteemed by all who had
the pleazara of an acquaintance
with him. In kis death the coun
ty loses a goad ecitizen and his
family a loving husband and a
kind fathar.

Last Taesday morning, at abont
1 o'clock, Mr. L. S. Baldwin, aftar
months of saffering with consump
tion, passed away into his long
rest.
