Robtnson House Closed.
Last Monday morning the Rob
inson House boarders were dis
missed and the hotel closed. The
house will not ba reopened until
next fall, when Captain Robinson
will conduct it himself. Duoring
the summer it is- proposeéd to fit
up the bailding with a thoroagh
water supply system, which will
add no little to its convenicnce as
a hotel.

Fire at sover,
Last Wednasday afternoon the
dwelling house of Mr. J. M.
Avera, at Dover, was complately
destroyed by fira. The fire origi
nated from a defective flue in the
stove room. There was na one at
home when the fire was discover
ed except Mrs, Avera, who was at
the well drawing water. Nota
single article of elothing or house
hold farniture was saved, and as
there was no insurance, ths loss,
which amounts to three or four
hundred dollars, falls quite heav
ily on Mr. Avera. The Lccse wag
