consequence is a perfect invasion of

The people of Ripley do not like

No Call for Sliver.
Washigton Star
The circulation of the standard
silver dollars from the treasury
aults has practically stopped Jal to
other. During the fall and early
winter there was quite a demand for
this coin for the purpose of moving
the crops. That demand stopped
when the crop movement was over.
Since the first of January last there
lias been no call for silver. All
the dollars that have been coined
there since that date remain in the
treasury. Futhei* then this, some
of the silver dollars then in circula
tion have found their way back in
to the vaults The amount Outstand
ing has steadily decreased. The
coinage at the rate of a little over
$2,000,000 a month still goes on.
The question of storage will soon
