The Exposition
The cry is “still they come !”
From all points of the compass
from places near and distant, ac*-
cumulate tho tidings of the people
coming to the exposition. It was
long ill coining, but there can be
no longer doubt that the genuine
“boom” for the great fair has at
lust arrived. Yesterday was just
a degree less notable in the numbor
of visitors, but not in the interest
taken by them in the exhibits.
The gate receipts will probably
figure near to those of Thursday,
which was to most attendants
half-price occassion,
We continue to note the grat
ifying fact that the visitors from
southern localities is daily on the
increase, Tho complexion of the
hotel registers has almost comple
tely changed and the familiar names
of our southern cities and states
occur as tho rule where some weeks
ago those of the north and oast
dominated.
Everything at tho exposition is
in capital condition, and a smooth
er running and moie pleasant ex
hibition was neveT opened to the
public of any country.—Atlanta
