Warren Leland,

tho vessel had cured himself, during the voy
age, of an obsttuato disease by the use of
Ayers Sarsaparilla.
Since then Mr. Lcland has recommended
Avan’* Saiisaparilla in many similar
cases, amt ho lias never yet hoard of itsfail-
ttro to effect a radical cure.
Some years ago one of Mr. I.RtANn's fnnn
laborers bruised his teg. Owing to the lmd
state of Ills blood, an ugly scrofulous swelling
or lump appeared oil tho injured limb. Hor
rible lulling of the skin, with burning and
darting pains through the lump, made life
•lmost Intolerable. The leg became enor
mously enlarged, and running ulcers formed,
discharging great quantities of extremely
olTeiisIrn matter. No treatment was of any
avail until tho man, by Mr. I.ri.ard’s direc
tion, was supplied with A yen's Sahhai-a-
Rll.LA, which nllayod the pnin and irritation,
lioalod tho sores, removed tho swelling, and
completely restored the limb to use.
Mr. Lulas o has personally used
Ayers Sarsaparilla
for Itliminindsm, with entire success; and,
after careful observation, declares that, in
his belief, thero is iio medicine 111 the world
equal to it for tho cure of Llvor Disorders,
Gout, tlio effects of lilgli living, halt

$he MorriBon’H Tariff Bill.
“The time has come when a par
tisan and personal struggle between
factions of the party must cease, or
the integrity of the party will be de
stroyed. Its organization must
speedily follow.
It is plnin to every one not entirely
bJipded by prejudice that the bill
cannot pass in its present shape.
There is not the slightest hope for it
save iq the closest and severest
emasculation.
The party must begin to prepare
for the Presidential campaign. If it
cannot entpr t}ie contest with an uni
ted front it were best that it do not
$pnder fight at all.
l'limt Cotton.
There is a way that every man can
get a good, remunerative price for
)iis crop this year. Lot the farmer
go to a good, reliable commission
merchant and sell the number of
bales he expects to make, say for
November or October. lie will get
about 10A net for it, and can make
money planting cotton at that price.
The farmers of the south can raise
no more renumeratlve crop than cot
ton at 10 cents per pound, but of
course we must insist on his raising
gll the provisions needed. A farmer
who buys hay, corn, and bacen, will
pever get along in any country, but
he cau, by raising these for his home
supply, make money if he can get 10
Cents per pound for cotton as hie
surplus crop.—Atlanta Constitution.

Alabastine Is tlio first and only preparation
made from calcined gypsum rock, for appli
cation to walls with a'brush, and Is fully cov
ered by patents amt perfected by many years
of experiments. It is thu only permanent
wall finish, and admits of applying as many
coals as desired, one over another, to any
hard surface, without danger of scaling, or] ived in Savannah or New York city,
'-'noticeably adding to thu thickness of lliol .eaUnit? We are the men fi
wall, which is strengthened and improved by
each additional coat, from time to time. It
Is the only material for tho purpose not do-
pendent upon glue for its adhesiveness.
Alabastine is hardened on tlio wall by ago,
moisture, etc., while all kalsomincs or whit
ening preparations have inert soft chalks
and glue for their base, which are rendered
soft or scaled in a very short time.
In addition to tho above advantages,
Alabastine is less expensive, us it requires
but one-half tho number of pounds to cover
tho same amount of surface with two coats,
is ready for use by adding water, and easily
nppliod by any one.
