From all the battlefields of the nation WL-
white-wiuged angels rose to hear 1*16
their banners from all tho million
graves of its martyred heroes; an 1
from the unnumbered millions of
dark, sad graves, thoso who had
been murdered by the liquor crime,
with pnle hands were rising to point
the way. Let the convention rise to
the grandeur of its mission and do
its duty fully, bravely and rightly,
and a grateful future would come to
crown its work with fadeless glory
ST. JOHN NOMINATED.
Upon reassembling in the after
noon session, the first business trails-;
acted was the call of the roll of states
upon the nomination, notwithstand-j
ingthe renewal of the objection from
those delegates who wished to get to]
work upon the platform. Every
vote was east for St. John, and at the
conclusion of the roll call, it was an-
nounced that the result of the ballot
was 602 votos for St. John. This
was received with much enthusiasm,
HON. WILLIAM DANIEL,
of Maryland, was nominated as can
didate for vice-president and the
convention adjourned sine die,
a new l'Ajrry demanded.
As the first and indispensable stoj
to reunion there must bo to
tal absolution from the two political
parties. It was of no consequence
which of them went first. In the
grave of their master, the liquor pow
er, they should both he quickly
buried. [Applnnse]. Year after
year the warfaro between the two
political parties was prolonged.
Through all these many years the
cry from the hearts af all the people
and allthe churches had been for a
new part}' and peace and progress.
The prohibition party was called in
to being to meet that cry. It pro
claimed a policy which bound in uni
ty all religious and moral forces.
Prohibition was civil liberty against
crime. License was personal liberty
for crime. The spirit of the illustri
ous founders, patriots and sages of
the republic appealed to them to go
forward in this mighty cause.

Uartersvillo, Ga,
This will certify that two members of
my immediate family, after having suf
fered for many years from mcnsturiil ir
regularity, and having been treated
without benefit by various medical doe-
tors, were at length completely
cured by ono bottle of Dr. J. Bradficjils
Female Regulator. Its effect on siic.li
cases is wonderful, and wc 1 may the
remedy bo called “Woman’s Best
Friend.” Yours respectively,
Jamils W, Sthanck.
Entire Anil Absolute Success.
Maj. Tolm ('. IFliitncr, of Atlanta, we
andfavoiahly known all over the United
States as ii General Insurance Agent,
says: “I used this remedy before the
| war on a large plantation in a great
lumber of eases, always with absolute
success.” *
Dr. J. Davis, of Miltown, Ala., writes:
Have used Bradlield’s Regulator ex
tensively in my practice with entire suc
cess. if it is not a specific, it is in my
opinion, the best know remedy for the
diseases for which it is recommended.”
A lady of Boliam, Texas, writes; “1
I wive been using your Female Regulator
for several weeks and with great ben
efit. My case is of long standing, and
has baffled many physicians. 1 have
tried every medicine I could hear of,
hut the Regulator is the only ono that
has ever relieved my distressing suffer
ings.”
Notasulga, Ala.
Dr. J. Brad field’s Female Regulator
has been thoroughly tested by mo in a
great variety of cases, and I am fully
convinced that it is unrivaled for that
class of diseases which it claims to cure.
