The rendition of the two farces,
—“Speculation" nnd "Getting ovei
a dilllcttlly"—by the Sandcrsvillc
Amateurs was very good, and a creil
it to the young ladies and gentlemen
taking part in it. A large and ap
preciative nudience greeted thorn
and evinced, by frequent encores,
their interest in the plays. The
proceeds of the plays and supper
were gratifying to the club aud its
friends. The string band enlivened
the interludes with well selected nnd
