Mixed Schools.
Why don't some of those liberal
minded fanatics of the northern states
who arc agitating the question of
mixed schools, to elevate the colored
face, come down South and take
back with them about half a million
of the negroes and try the theory of
mixing iu their own schools before
thay give us the trial of it. The
Southerner will educate his own
children before he will patronize a
mixed public school.
