The Temperance Cause.
We are glad to note that Sanders-

full headway, composed of some of
the best citizens. This society has
long been needed in our place. It
will be the means of training the
young people in the cause of temper-

tliey will cast their sulferage with
the temperance people. We wish the
Society success,. We have always
cast our ballot for the cause of tem

we expect to continue to, The ques

gest and grandest that has been agi

day soon be brought into the nation

and to propigntc the best that is

to metamorphose the Philistine and
inject into him Mathew Arnold’s

Incidentally this club proposes to
bring about tho reclamation of the
wayward mooting us, especially the

this end it lias recently thrown open
the doors of its capacious library
