This Georgia wonder, the pheno
mans of the nineteenth century, gave
eaeofher grand entertainments in
our city on Wednesday night laat,
She waa billed for Haiaea’ Hall but
early in the evening it became ap
parent to all that the house was too
small for the immense crowd that
waa congregating, and Watkins’ Hall
waa aecared. The crowd packed
tke large Hall so that there was
hardly standing room. The exhi
bition of the wonderful powers of
this gifted young lady was received
with great applause, and the crewd
asked what i* it that gives her such
power, but none were found able to
answer the question. An excursion
train from Wrightsville and one
from Tennille brought large crowds
to see this celebrated Georgia girl.
She ia much improved since her last
visit and we hope to see her again
soon.
