Two bouses, Nos. 56 anil 67 Atlantic street,
Brooklvn, fell in with a crash. A number of
person’s were killed and others seriously in
jured. Tbo buildings on Hlato street, which
are let out with steam power for various man
ufacturing purposes, together with tlio build
ings In tbo rear, wero destroyed. The rear
building was undergoing repairs. Ono of tlio
props tinder tho girders gave way, when tbo
onttro structure collapsed. Tbo Arc then com
municated with the front buildings, and
despite tbo efforts of tbo firemen they wero
destroyed. Fifteen workmen are supposed to
bo in tbo ruins.
