SEW CARS RECEIVED.
Tlie August a, Gibson & Sandcrs-
vilie railroad yesterday received two
very handsome new passenger ears.
This will make up one of the finest
passeuger trains that runs out of
Augusta. Ono of the cars received
is divided for mail and baggage pur
poses. The narrow gunge trains are
beauties, nnd tlie new railroad runs
one of the dapporost and most ele
gant turnouts < n its schedules in
Georgia. President Mitchell is mak
ing this a first class road from the

county lias certainly joined tho line
of prohibition counties. This pre
cinct, which is the stronghold of the
whisky men, gave a majority for pro

Patterson.” Our people arc enthu
