Mrs Holmes, the beloved wife of
Mr, Henry Holmes residing at Sun
Hill, died on Wednsdny last, at 10:30
a. in. Mrs. Holmes has been in feeble
health for'somo time past.
Mrs. Martha A. Scott died nt her
residence near Sun Hill on Friday
14th inst, and was buried at Sisters
church on Saturday. She has been
in very feeble health for twelve mon
ths or more but was attacked sudden
ly with congestion on Friday morn

Wood on Monday evening last. Sev
eral of our leading musicians—both
male and female—were present, who

performer, however, was Miss Luln
