Mr. L. W. Tutt, of Dublin was
a business visitor to the city this
week. Mr. Tutt spent last Sum-
mer here in the cotton business,
and made many friends, who are
always glad to see him back.
John Oneil, colored, plead guilty
of having a concealed pistol on his
person beiore Judge Wall. He
was given the usual sentence.
Judge Wall says the pistol toter
must pay for the crime when
caught.
Caslucius Young was brought
back from Douglas Monday, where
he Hed after entering the home of
John Wolford in the Third Ward

County Jail awaiting trial,

composed a party who left Mon-
day for Mobile. Ala., to attend the
Confederate Reunion.
The baseball game Saturday
afternoon between the Fitzgerald
High School and the local second 7
nine resulted in a decided victory
for the High School, the score
being 8 and 2. The game was
played on the school diamond and
was attended by a very enthusi-
astic throng.
Policeman Osbourn and Deputy
Sheriff Dixon raided a house on
E. Roanoke drive, 3 o’clock Sun-

morning while a spirited game j
of cards was going on. Toffid

charged with gambling. Three
