SURPRISE PARTY FOP. MRS. WATERS
Mrs. Alpha Harrod Waters, of
Traverse Citv. Michigan was very
pleasantly surprised
evening by a crowd of her
friends.
Numerous games were played
and a dainty luncheon of chocolate
and cake was served. At a late
hour the guests departed unani-
mously proclaiming they all had a
good time. Those present were:

SURPRISE PARTY FOR
mr. and mrs. mosher
Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Mosher
were the happy recipients of a
very pleasant surprise last Tuesday
evening when a number of their
friends complimented them with
party, in honor of the thirty-ninth
anniversary of their wedding.

The affair was arranged without
the knowledge of Mr. and Mrs.
Mosher, who little suspected,
while they quietly reviewed their
happy courtship days and the sub¬
sequent event that joined their
destinies thirty-nine years ago,
that their friends were preparing
to tender them an entertainment.
The party arrived at about eight
o'clock, completely surprising the
lionorees. who when they rallied
sufficiently from the surprise,
thanked them most graciously for
the many beautiful and useful
gifts which they received. Dur-
ing the evening, numerous games
were played, and at a late hour,
the guests departed for their re-
spective homes, after partaking of
a delicious course luncheon, which
was also prepared at the home of
one of the neighbors.
