Miss Florence Roberts, of Ocilla,
spent the week-end very pleasantly
with her sister, Mrs. A. E. Jones.
Mr. C. A. Wheeler and little
daughter, Geraldine, went up to
Macon Monday, to visit relatives.
Miss Eula Ware was called to
Harlem Sunday, on account of the
illness of her sister, Mrs. Asa
Tcasley.
Mr. B. T. Jones returned Mon¬
day to his home in Reynolds, after
a visit to his sister, Mrs. Guy F.
Robinson.
Mr. and Mrs. J. II. Barnes
carne up from Douglas Sunday,
to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
D. L. Martin.
Mrs. Jess.; Grantham and little
son, Ward, are visiting in Doug¬
las, guests of her parents, .fudge
and Mrs. W. P. Ward.
Mr. and Mrs. E J. Ilailc and
baby, of Atlanta, are the guests
of his parents, Dr. and Mrs. T. J.
Hade,and brother, Mr. Will Haile.
Mrs. J. A. Adams, who for the
past three weeks has been desper¬
ately ill at Adel, returned to the
city Sunday and is resting fairly
well at her home on West Oconee
street.
Mr. and Mrs. John 11. Carpen¬
ter left Monday night for Bclling-
tor>, Wash., where they will visit
a short while before going to Hor¬
ton, Kans., to make their home in
the future.

visitors to Uie city Tuesday.

is in the city, visiting her sister.

Mrs. N. E. Shaffer, who has
been visiting her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. S. P. Register, left Tuesday
for her home in Washington, D.

Miss Dollie McLendon has re¬
sumed her duties at the High
School, after a prolonged stay in
Bluffton, where her mother was
quite sick for some time, but is
now on the road to recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Wesley King, of
Missouri, are spending this week
with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Thayer.
They arrived in the city from
Florida where they have been
spending the winter and are now
on their way home.
Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Sanderson,
of Centerville, Wis., are in the
city, spending a few days with
Mr and Mrs. W. A. Green, while
en route from Tampa, Fla., to
their home.
Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Mosher,
Miss Florence Bigelow, Mr. and
Mrs. John Justice, Dr. J. H.
Moss and sister, Mrs. Lander,
composed a party who will auto
to Miona Springs Friday, to spend
the week end with Mr. and Mrs
