Failed To Indict
Atlanta. Constitution
Atlanta, Ga., April 12.—Once
more the government of the Uni¬
ted States has failed to indict the
Atlanta Constitution. Some weeks
ago the government tried to en¬
mesh the Constitution in the toils
for alleged short-comings, but
failed.
In the last action the federal
authorities asked for three indict¬
ments: One against the Consti¬
tution Publishing Company, Roby
Robinson, William F. Crusselle,
Wallace Rhodes, W. H. Wynne,
and James A. Norton; another
against Roby Robinson, and a
third against the Constitution
Publishing Company, Roby Rob¬
inson and William F. Crusselle.
The charges embraced under¬
weighing of mail and false evi¬
dence regarding sample copies.
The investigation has been under
way several days.
