lightful visit with relatives in

Mr. and Mrs. John Irving are
now making their home with Dr.
and Mrs. J. Haw kins Goodman
on south Lee street.
Another theatre party in honor
of Miss Barbara Harless will be
given this evening by Messrs.
K&ndall Bryan and Ted Myers.
Mrs. Rosa Cool, and daughter,
Miss Mable Cool, have returned
home from a two months visit
with relatives in Colorado.

Miss Ida Miller has returned
from a pleasant visit at Fttzgerald,
where she has been the guest of

Mr. I. Mannheim left yesterday
for Hawkinsville, his former home,
where he has accepted a position.
Mr. Manaheim’s family will con¬
tinue to make their home in Fitz¬
gerald, for the present at least.
Mrs. Mattie Bunch, who has
been in the city for the past two
months, visiting the family of Mr.
W. A. Green, left Wednesday
forTifton, to be the guest of Mrs.
Gordon Henderson, before return-

Miss Scrobel was very charming¬
ly entertained while in Fitzgerald,
numbers of card parties, dancing
parties and theater parties were
planned in her honor, and every¬
thing conspired to make her visit

from New York state, where they
spent the summer in .the Catskill
Mountvins, but will leave in sever¬
al days, accompanied by Miss
Florence Fowler for Mississippi,

IN HONOR Of POPULAR VISITOR
Miss Barbara Harless, of Bar
tow, Fla., the attractive guest of
Miss Isla Green, in whose
so many parties and dances have
been given during the past week,
was again the honoree at a Theater
Party Wednesday evening, the
hosts being Messrs. George Kil-
crease and Ethridge Adams.
The invited guests met at the
home of Mrs. Green, the verandah
of which was beautifully lighted
with Japanese lanterns, and after
partaking of delicious punch,
were chaperoned to the Lyric by
Dr. and Mrs. L. A. Turner, Mr.
and Mrs. Vincent Green and Mrs.
W. A. Green.
Refreshments consisting of cream
and nabiscos were served at Adams
Candy Kitchen, and later the
merry party repaired to the home
of Miss Green, where dancing was
indulged in until a late hour.
Those enjoying the hospitality
of Mr. Ivilcrease and Mr. Adams
