liss Wmnifred Locke and Mr.
Joshua 11. Wimberly were united
' n marriage yesterday morning at
the home of tne bride’s mother,
Mis. R. A. Locke, on Central ave.
The ceremony was celebrated very
quietly only the immediate family
of the bride being present. Rev.
Thos. M. Callaway was the officiat¬
ing minister, and Mr. and Mrs.
Wimberly left on the noon train
for Jeffersonville, their future
home.
The bride is a charming young
woman and possesses many ad¬
mirable traits of character. Dur¬
ing her four years’ residence in
Fitzgerald she has made many
friends, who regret that her mar¬
riage will take her to another city.
The groom is not known in Fitz¬
gerald, being a resident of Jeffer¬
sonville, but is said to be a pro¬
gressive and enterprising citizen
and a large planter.
The Leader j»ins their many
friends in congratulations and
good wishes.
