Our National Banks
Pursuant to customs, the Na¬
tional Banks of Fitzgerald held
their individual stock holders’
meetings on Tuesday, Jan. 9th.
The year 1911 proved a most
profitable one from a banking
standpoint, and eoch of the in-
stitulions paid handsome divi¬
dends to their stockholders The
First National and Exchange
National re-elected their old of¬
ficers and directors, while the
Third National elected n new set
entirely, adding now blood to
their line-up. Mr. E- N. Davis
is suceee fed by Presidenc A. B.
C >ok, who will in future hare
full charge of the Bank’s affairs.
Fitzgerald’s Banks have always
been progressive and have ever
been strong factors in the build¬
ing and developing of the city
and county. Fitzgerald and
Ben Hill County appreciate
the spirit that has always gov¬
erned these institutions and we
voice the sentiments of the pub¬
lic when we assure them of tins
appreciation.

We are still on the job, with only one idea in view—Best Goods at lowest prices.” One Janu-

you, we opened for business. On Friday, and the “ 13th, ” too, surely might
have have made us feel rather nervous about it, bui we just delight in doing the “impossible” and ask
the public if we have “ made good ?” Yes, they gave thirty to sixty days to close our doors. We
yet—still hustling and will are open

We would not “boast” this way, but we know our “customers are our frisnds” and will back

you your nearest neighbors- -he’s one of our customers,
our friend, too. Here’s why we ask you to come and see us. “ There’s a Reason.”
