have moved to Atlanta.

Mrs Robert Woolsey and chil¬
dren, of Ocilla, spent Wednesday
with relatives in the city.
Misses Pass and Eula Cole, of
Cordrle, are the guests of Mrs.
Will Pass on South Grant.
Mrs. Thomas J. Dickey left
Wednesday for Sparta, to be the
guest of Mrs. Walton Purrora.
Mr. Roland Hardy has returned
from West Pompous, Fla., where
he spent a week with home folks.
Mr. T. J. Dickey, of the Lon
Dickey Lumber Company, trans¬
acted bu; mess in Macon several
days this week.
Mrs. E. J. Walker went up to
Cordele Wednesday, to spend sev¬
eral days with her son, Mr. Ora
Walker.
Mr. E. W. Stetson, formerly
cashier of the Exchange National
Bunk of this city, but now’ Presi¬
dent of the Citizens Bank, of Ma¬
con, was among the prominent vis¬
itors in the city during the week.
Mrs. Lucinda Vanlandingham,
who for some time has been mak¬
ing her home here with her sister,
Mrs. W. A. Poole, left this week
for Tippettsville, where she will
reside in future with her daughter,
Mrs. Tippett.

Notice of Pensioners
I have received a check with
which to pay the Confederate pen¬
sioners of Ben Hill Cojnty, and
am requested by the Pension Com¬
missioner to pay all pensions with¬
in ten days if possible, and return
to him all money not called for
within that time, ir order that he
may distribute the money in the
other counties, so those, persons
not calling for their c wck within
ten days, will be compelled to
wait till about Feb. 5th.
Would like for all pensioners to
eull and get their check before
Feb. 5th.

candidate for re-election to the
office of the Clerk of the Superior
Court of Ben Hill County, sub-
ject to the white primary to be
ordered.
I have at all times endeavored
to perform the duties of this

elected again, 1 will try and per¬
form my duties in strict compli¬
ance with the law as heretofore.
