An ordinanee to peovide for the
paving of all those side walks on
, Pine Street from Shierman street
'to Main street and t:io_,_provi(?iei-'for
the paving ofall thasé side walks
on Grant street from Magnolia
street to Cengral Avenue which
are at'the present txme unéayed,
all ig the city of Fitzgerald, Ben
Hill County, Georgia and to pro
vide for the assessment of two
thirds (§) of .the cost of said pav
irg against those persons, firms
and eorporations owning the pro
perty abbutting on said side walks
so that the cost of said paving
shall be paid two-thirds (3) by the
property owners and one-third (3)
by the said city.
Sec. 1, PEe it ordained by the
mayor and council of the city of
Fitzgerald, and it is hereby or
dained by authority ot the same
that the side walks on that por
tion of Pine street from Sherman
street to Ma‘n street, which is at
present unpaived, shall be paved
and the side walks on that portion
of Grant street from Sherman
street to Central Avenue shall be
paved and the expenses of said
paving shall be borne two-thirds
(3) by those property owners own
ing property adjoining such por
tions of side walks and one-third,
(¥) by the city of Fitzgerald, the
whole cost of said paving to any
adjoining property owner to be
determined ‘by the: whole cost of
the paviug, of the side walk per
front along his property and two
thirds (%) of said cost is to be
paid by said property owners and
one-third (}) by the city of Fitz
gerald. :
Sec. 2. Be it further ordaincd,
that each property -owner ot said
streets, side walks adjoining’ which
have not been paved, shall be im
mediately served ‘with nofi¢e to

the said property owners, ‘fotify
ing them that the paying of such
side walks must be begun - within.

Sec. 5. Be it further: ordained
that the said paving shall be done,
whether by the city or by proper
ty owners, under the supervision
of the street Commissioner of said
city and the same shall be accepted
by him before it is approved by
the said city.
Sec. 6, Be it further ordained
that all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict with this or
dinance be and the same are here
by repealed.
