the New England States, but it
is holding its own in New York.
It is also growing rapidly in the
cities of Philadelphia, Chicago,
Omaha and Minneapolis.
"In the borders of the Northern
Methodist church there are thirty
thousand ministers, and church
property worth $27,341,000.
Dressed in Style She Stole
Atlanta, November 21.—One
of the prettiest women ever seen
in Atlanta was arrested at the
Southeastern Fair yesterday as
she tried to secrete a valuable
piece of exhibit embroidery in
her muff. e 4
She was tall, statuesque in
proportions and magnificently
dressed. 'The county officers
who made the arrest carried her
to the fair authorities and asked
what they should do.
The officers decided that it
would be best to escort the
woman off the grounds and let
her go. Consequently it will
never be known whether she
was a professional thief or a
real lady who succumbed to an
irresistable kleptomaniac im
pulse,
