Ask Us How You Can Own One
Before going into the Automobile business, the first thing I decided to do was to look
over the field and get noting but BEST MONEY COULD BUY. When you read below the
line have you will promptly decide that I succeeded in this particular. It has always
| been my policy to sell quality, and you know for more than eight years no concern in this
section has sold you better buggies and wagons than we sell.
o NATIONAL AUTOMOBILES.--This “thing ot beauty” is and has been for
» fifteen years the leader in its class, and when a man asks you what kind ot a car youdrive
' and you tell him “National,” he knows she is the “queen ot the road.” Ask Hon. A. J.
McDonald,” an old Cadallac man. We delivered him one last week and he is a “National
Fan”
Marion Automobiles.«-The Dark Red Six Cylinder beauty that is a ioy to
ow.:, ask Mr. Peterson, one of our careful, level-headed business men. We delivered to him '
v a Marion last week and he is the proud owner of the very best he could buy.
“Hudson Super Six.”--] must contess I think is in a class to herself, a motor
that will throttle down to 2% miles per hour, and then up to 75 miles per hour by using a
little gasoline, is “some Automobile.” “Excuse my dust” is all she says--not a jar, not a
skip or jump in its action.. HUDSON SUPER SIX is the sensation of the Automobile
- game today, and the country is simply wild overthem. We have one for your inspection.
} Phone us and we will eall and demonstrate it.

THAT ONE CENT SALE.
In speaking of the remarkable suc
cess of the Denmark Drug Co’s, ONE
CENT SALE last Friday and Satur
day, Mr. Denmark gives full crédit to
the advertising value of the Leader-
Enterprise. }
“People whom I have seen for the
first time trading in the city, caine!
from Coffee, Wilcox and Irwin coun
ties, inresponse to my offerings made
hrough your valuable paper, last Wed
nesday. The largest crowds that I
have even had in my store, even dur
ing the holiday times, visited my
istore last Saturday: All day my
clerks were kept busy waiting on city
!and country customers. February is
considered a specially dull month with
retailers, but I believe an advertise
ment of reliable seasonable merchan
dise, backed by an established repu
tation of fair dealing, will get business
’any time, it does so with us.
“One thing,” continued Mr. Den
mark, “I want to say for the Leader-
Enterprise, and this is, that I have
been written to by several drug man
ufacturers, that they are unable to get
their advertisements in the ILeader-
Enterprise and I believe the fact that
|you are discriminating in the advertis
ing columns of your paper, gives it
|more value for advertisers, that do
‘get into your columns, I .appreciate
the clan-cut policy of eliminating un
’dcsirahle advertisers from the Leader
' Enterprige,”

PARENT-TEACHERS ASSO. :
MEETS TOMORROW AFTER
NOON AT THE LIBRARY
The Council of Parent-Teach
ers will organize those interested in
the high school children tomorrow,
Tuesday afternoon at three o’clock in
Auditorium of the library, Inunity
there is strength. The purpose of the
congress of mothers to bring parents
and schools into closer relations is so
essential to our social well being at
the present time that we cannot ov
er-estimate it. The school has been
built up as a tremendous educational
factor, but it operates unfortunately
and necessarily, to take the child out
of the home a good part of the time,
where only he can get certain training
that is necessary to the best results.
The schcol can do for the child many
things that the home used to do and
certainly do them better. There are
other things, however, that must be
done by the home cr not at all, The
‘werk of ccucating the child should be
ishdrcd by both parent and teacher,
Lam] the twe should cenfer often in re
garl to theit mustual deties and their
methaods of wirr ang them.
We need a club composed of pa
rents and teachers in every school to
‘watch over the health, the morals and
the intelligent progress of the pupils.
