From. April sth to April 12th is
Clean-Up Week.
Spring is here, and the season when
cleaning up is necessary is already
here, but prominent people throughout
Georgia and the United States have
inauguarted the movement of Clean-
Up Week. $
The work in Georgia is in charge of
the Woman’s Federation of Clubs, and
the only Fitgerald organization affil
iated with this great state work is the
Woman’s Club, of which Mrs. I.
Gelders is president. .
. Governor Nat E. Harris has offical
lyproclaimed April sth-12th, as clean-
Up Week, and people all over the
state are joining in the movement,
¢ Mrs. Walter George, of Vienna, is
president of the Federation of Wo
man’s clubs in this district, and she
has been in comunication with the lo
