THE TOMLIN BOY IS
RAPIDLY IMPROVING
Encouraging news from the
bedside of little Robert Tomlin,
at the home of Mr. James Garri
son, will be read with apprecia-|
tion by the many friends of thel
family and Mr. L. J. Blitch, with
whose car the child came in con
tact last Sunday. Mr. Blitch is
making daily visitg to the little
fellow and is having everything
done to make him comfortable.
Last evening we visited the
child in company with Mr. Blitch
and learned more of the details
of the accident. From eye wit
nesses it was learned that the
child jumped off an embankment
just as the car appeared on that
side of the road, so near the car
that Mr. Blitch stopped hig car
within a car’s length of the child’s
body. The parents and neighbor”
expressed themselves freely and
attached no blame to. Mr. Blitch
for the accident, which they said,
after more careful investigation,
seemed to have been unavoidable.
Dr. Ware, who is attending the
child, states that he is practical
ly out of danger now. and is get
ting alosg very well this morning.
