sent a description of him to the
police and county authorities of
the state. Rhodes is well known

the roads from Macon tothe Col

THIS is the Car that created such a sensation at the Philadelphia, Chicago, and Macon
Auto Shows. The Odom Auto Company, Georgia distributors were the first to sella car
on the floor at the recent Macon Show, within thirty minutes after the doors were opened,
and betore the doors were closed, had sold thirty-one cars. The Bell Motor Car Company has
found that the unusually large demand for their products has forced that Company to in
crease its capital stock $50,000.00 to $300,000.00.
The simplicity throughout this car, and beauty of design is such that is not usually found
in cars selling for less than $1,000.00. Don't fail to have a demonstration of the “BELL”
Car and note carefully the specification that make up this car. |

Although they say that the “Ba-|

fine ball Thursday, although a
high, moist wind prevailed all|
during the last six innings. The]
famous Baby Wilder gave up but|
three hits. However, Wilder \\';ls}

with cowbells and made \Wilder|

hit a hard fly to centerfield, hn\\'-|
ever, Loke Thrasher prevented
the hit with a pretty catch, and
then Norris hit into a double,
Wilder to Thrasher to Gilmore.
Little Fuss pitched pretty good
ball but he was given very pmn‘!
support. Fuss also hit 333 during
the game and made two very
pretty stops. The Thrasher boys
obtained six out of the nine hits
the visgors made off him. Ikc‘
made three out of four and Loke
three out of six. Why this par-,

MONTEZUMA WINS AGAIN
Fitzgerald suffered her third
defeat for the season Wednesday
in the last game of the Montezu
ma series. It was a good, close
game all the way through, nip
and tuck to the end. Dick Ste
vens for the home team pitched
nice ball, giving up five hits.
Milligan pitched his opening
game, and although eight raps
are recorded against him, three of
these were flukes, pure and sim
ple. Milligan has perfect control
and has some of the best kind of
curves. In fact, Milly is as good
a pitcher as he is second-base
man, although such a thing is
hard to imagine. Skipper Coch
ran held down the keystone bag,
Barber played centerfield and Lit
tle Fuss pastimed in right gar
den. ¢
[ In spite of this shifted line-up
‘lhc team played a mighty nice
game and featured quite a little
!tcum work. In both the third and
fourth innings the Fitzgerald
'ninc got men on bases in the best
possible position to score with
only one out, but Dick Stevens
pulled out of the hole in each case
like a big six Buick going through
a sand bed, and saved the game.
Among the features were Bar
ber’s catch of Morrison’s fly in
the fourth and Kates’ catch of
Biemiller's foul in the same
frame.
Fitzgerald scored her two runs
in the eighth, thusly: Norris was
passed to fir#%, Cochran doubled
to right, sacoring him. Mize sac
rificed to first, Barnett grounded
out short to first and Cochran
came home on the ptit out. Then
Milligan went out second to firsi’.‘
