Buick Display Proves Of Great
Interest To Hundreds Of .
- Show Visiters ‘
Great crowds of auto dealers and motor enthusiasts are flocking
to Atlanta this week to atten the Great Southern Automobile Show
now in progress in that city. These visitors are from all sections of
the Southeast; with a good proportion from points much farther :
away. An unusual interest in this event is being manifested and the
conclusion of the show on March 12th will undoubtedly mark the be
ginning of a wonderful business revival in.many lines of Southern I_ '
commerce and industry. 3
From every standpoint the Show measures up to the expecta- '
tions of all. There are ninety distinct exhibits shown. In many
instances each exhibit includes two or more models. In the motor
truck and automotive equipment divisions there are representative
displays of many leading products. No matter what type of motort
car, truck or equipment accesory one may desire,‘ it may be seen in
this great exhibifion, and in the most modern design.
The first day‘s attendance has been a record-breaker, so it is
reported; and it is estimated that more than 30,000 wiii have viewed l
the exhibition before the closing day. The immense municipal audi
torium which houses the Show has been transformed from a bare !
and grim building of vast proportions to a veritable springtime
bower of beauty and animation. éénary birds in large numbers,
tlowers, foliage and thousands of electric lights form in gorgeous
combination an effect of superb beauty. The musical program of
the famous Kilties Band is one of the “hits” of the events.
Mr. Harry C. Vinson, manager of Leonard Brothers Motor Co,,
local distributor of the Buick line, says that while the Buick has
been materially improved this year, the reputation of this popular
car is isuch that it never fails to attract attention, and at this Show
great interest centers around tne Buick exhibit.
) Nfr. Harry C. Vinson also reports that a “buying impetus” has
already become apparent at the Show, and many sales are expected
as a direct resuit. There is every reason to believe that the Great
Southern Automobile Show has firmly established itself as an
annual factor in the automobile field of this section. *
