FITZGERALD ENTERPRISE

~ Good Cooks
Use |
Our Spices
Because they are all spice. Picked by
hand in the Orient, they are imported in
bales, before being ground, to the United
States. Here they are repicked and
freed from any foreign matter. Then
the spice is graded. The best goes to the
drug market, the poorer to the open
market and eventually finds its way to
the general store.
We handle only the best and at the
same price you pay for poorer grades. . .

EASTER DECORATIONS
Among the Easter decoration
in the Dbusiness houses, we
notice the Grant street window
of Wilcox and Dorminey, which
displays a pretty arch of ever
greens and flowers surmounted
by the words ‘“‘Easter—l9o6.”
'On Central avenue the Williams
store overflows with pretty
things of the season and two
genuine Belgian Hares blink at
the passersby. Living, healthy
xabbits they are.
On Grant street HuSsey and ‘
Parrot’s Bicycle store is some-i
thing out of the usual order with ‘
its show window of all manner
of electric attachments, but the
prettiest of allis the big hang
ing ‘‘Arc-Burst” surrounded by
frosty white glass bulbs that are
elegant when lit up and beside
it is the chandelier with its deli- ‘
cately tinted cups. Itis a pride
showing a desire to excel that
helps build up a town. If you
have a good idea let the public
know it, and they will soon seek
you out.
EASTER SERMON.

“Best thing I know is the

“Kaster egg hunt?”’ |
“Yep. At the Lee-Grant
hotel on Monday at four o’clock.
More fun than anything we’vei
had in a coon’s age.”’ |
“Who is giving it?”
“St. Mathew’s church.”

cents to help the church and
then you can hunt all you want.
There’s going to be a gold egg
and whoever finds it geis a prize.
There are two other prizes, too.”’
“What are they?”
~ “That’s a secret, Be sure to
