Mrs. S. R. Duncan, of Wray,
was seriously burned some time
ago; it ail healed excepot a place
on her arm, some six or eight in
ches square, which resisted all
efforts to heal. Finally she
cai® to Dr. E. V. Ball, who told
her that skin would havzs to be
grafted on the denuded surface.
She consented, and the doctor
transplanted souad skin from
below the burn to the ‘‘raw”
surface. Later Dr. Ball traas
planted skin from Mrs. Duncan’s
sister’s arm. The grafts have
taken well and the arm will soon
be well.
Miss A. E. Haven, and Mrs.
L. H. Hodges, of Washington
City, D. C.,, who were called
here by the affl ction of their
sister, Mrs. N. H. Gould will
return to their home this week.
Mrs. Gould’s remaining eyeis
in a better condition and Mrs.
Talbott will have charge of the
household affairs. Mrs. Hodges
who was so ill while here on her
last visit is in much better
health altho, she had to have a
portion of three ribs removed
after she was placed in the hos
pital at Washiagtion city.
