An Appeal
Friends. As most of you
know an effort 's being made to
raise money to build a Pavilion
at the Andersonville National
Cemetery, in which to hold Mem
orial exercises, and for shelter
and refuge in case of rain. All
who went to Aundersonville the
last two years know how much
such a building is needed. We
have raised several hundred
dollars but we need as much
more as the Government re
rquires a substantial, permanent
building in harmeny with its
surroundings. The people of
Fitzgerald will receive the most l
benefit from this building, and]
so far no call has been made
upon them for financial aid. But
we now ask those in charge of
the Sunday Memorial exercises
at the Opera House to takeupa
collection for this purpose. We
ask of all who attend those ex
erelses to come prepared to
make a liberal donation as our
friends in the North are doing
nobly, and we are much more
. deeply interested than they are.
