be filled by Dr. C. E. Clemens of
Chicago, 111. Dr. Clemens is a cou
sin of the late Samuel L. Clemens
(Mark Twain) and is an eminent
pulpit orator. Dr. E. B. Caldwell of
New York city is expected to ar
rive in the city today and to preach
at the evening service.
FIRST METHDEZIST CHURCH
Dr. C. E. Clemens of Chicago and
Dr. E. B. Caldwell of New York City
are expected to arrive in the city
today, and to speak at the session
of Conference tonizht.
Dr. Clemens is a cousin of the
late Samuel L. Clemens (Mark
Twain) and has much of that cele
brated Author's humor. Dr. Cald
lwell is also prominent as a pulpit
orator.
Sunday morniag the first service
will be Love Feast at £:00 o'clock.
10.00 o'clock ordinations. At 10:30
Bichop Anderson will preach. Note
the change in time to an earlier
tour. All services will begin prompt
'y. At 230 p m. a memorial ser
vice will be held in memory of the
two Bishops and one member cof

Clemens or Dr. Douncy will take his
place. This will be the last session
of the Conference. The general
