Q.—ls there really any difference
in batteries?
A.—Yes, but there are really only
two kinds of batteries. Those with
wood seperators and those with
Threaded Rubber Insulation.
Q—ls Threaded Rubber Insulation
the only feature that puts the Willard
Threaded Rubber Battery ahead of
ordinary automobile battery?
A—By no means. The Willard
Threaded Rubber Battery has all
the improvements that have grown
out of Willard’s years of specializa
tion in building starting lighting and
ignition batteries. rAsk us about it.

Chattanooga Man States Tanlac Ov
. ercame His Troubles—Can’st Say
. Too Much For It,
], W. F. Dennis, 203 Lyerly St, of
Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Mo
!hile, Ala.,, makes an interesting state
ment regarding Tanlac.
' “It certainly was lucky for me,”
| said Mr. Dennis, "That I got hold of
Tanlac when I did, for I was just
’about down and out. Off and on for
three years I have been down with
|malaria. For ten months on one oc
casion I was confined to the house
most of the time.
“As I usually spent my winters in
Chattanooga, I came back here last
September to spend the rest of my:
life with my daughter. When I ar
rived hare I was in a very weak oon-‘
d tion, fpr the malaria was fast get
ting the “es of me. 1 had no appe
tite, felt weal) and tired all the time
and had pains\ in my stomach that
were completel§ upsetting my nerves,
I slept very lit Ale and got up morn
ings nearly exhaysted, In fact I was
just about all in‘and kept getting
worse,
“Five weeks ago I got Tanlac and
my appetite picked up with my first
half bottle. Soon I was able to sleep
all night and felt like a new man. 1
eat any kind of food set before me
and enjoy it. I have gained several
pounds in weight and feel better than
I have in five or six years. Tanlac
has saved me money and given me
health, too, and I can’t say too much
for it.” ‘ adv.

If Kidneys Act
Bad Take Salts
Says Backache Is Sign You Have
Been Eating Too Much
Meat. ‘
When you wake up with backache
and dull misery in the kidney region
it generally means you have been eat
ing too much meat, says a well
known aut’\ority. Meat forms uric
acid which/ overworks the kidneys in
their efforf to filter it fromr the blood
and they become sort of paralyzed(
and loggys~When your kidneys get
sluggish and cl you must relievc‘
them, like you delieve your bowels; !
removing all tRe body’s urinous
waste, else you hhve backache, sick!
headache, dizzy spells; your stomach]
sours, tongue is ¢ ated, .and wheni
the weather is bad you have rheumat
ic twinges. The urine is cloudy, fulll
of sediment, channels often get sore,l
water scalds and you are obliged to
seck relief two or three tim:s during}
the night. ‘
Either consult a good, reliable
physician at once or get from your
pharmacist about four ounces of Jad
Salts; take a tablespoonful in a glass
of water before breakfast for a few
days and your kidneys will then act
fine. This famous salts is made from
the acid of grapes and lemon juice,
combined with lithia, and has been
used for generatiéns to clean and
stimulate sluggish kidneys, also to
neutralize acids in the urine so it
no longer irritates, thus ending blad
der weakness. ' |
Jad Salts is a life saver for regular
meat eaters. It is inexpensive, can
not injure and makes a delightful ef
fervescent lithia-water drink—Ady.

Farm Bureau Will
Talk Cotton Market
ATLANTA, April 20.—At a meet
ing of the advisory board ‘held in
Atlanta during the past week, R, A,
Kelley, president of the federation
iwas elected to represent the Georgia
'Farm Bureau Fedration at the meet
ing in Memphis, April 26, called by
the American Farm Bureau Federa
tion to consider a cutton marketing
plan.
' The call for the meeting has been
extended by the American Federa
}tion to consider a cotton marketing
| plan.
The call for the meeting has been
extended by the American Federa
tion to all agricultural interests in
the thirteen cotton rafsing states, and
an invitation to send a delegate in
structed to act at the meeting has
been extended to the following insti
tutions in Georgia: J. J. Brown, de
partment of Agricultare; J. H. Mills,
of the Farmers’ Union; Dr. Andrew
M. Soule, president of the state col
lege of agriculture; the Georgia Farm
Bureau Federation, and other agricul
tural organizations in the state.
The grain marketing plan of the
American Farm Bureau Federation
as prepared by the committee of sev
enteen of that organization after
spending six months carefully con
sidering all grain marketing plans
advancd, has ben finally ratified and
will be put into effect in the grain
‘growing states of the country this
summer, This plan 1s said to be one
of the best cooperative marketing
plans that has ever been adopted and
much benefit is expected to accrue to
the grain growing farmers of the
country from it, .
It ig expected that a plan similar
to the grain marketing plan will be
presented at the meeting in Mempbhis,
and it is expected that a committee
will be appointed at the - meeting,
composed of the leading brains of
the south instructed to carefully con
sider all cotton marketing plans ad
vanced before finally submitting
a plan. ;
Indications are that all of the cot
ton raising states will have large del-‘
‘egations at the Memphis meeting, andi
}it is to be hoped that Georgia will'
be well represented.
