The local showers Thursday after
noon did not prevent the gathering of

the Presbyterian ‘Sunday school and
church, The crowd was delayed a
little but drove out to Bowen’s Mill
in the afternoon and enjoyed the
swimmihg and boat riding in the pond
and supper was served at seven
o’clock and many watermelons cut
later, The picnicers returned to the
city about nine o’clock having spent
a very pleasant aftcr?oon.
