) AUTO TAX LAW
No Ten Day Card Board Tag To Be
Permitted in Future
ATLANTA, August 19 —This is to
call attention to the amendments
just made to the motor vehicle law,
From now on, no ten day cardboard
tags can be used at all, and it wiil be
a violation of the law for anyone td
attempt to operate a car under one
of these tags. ‘
The amended law makes it the
duty of every sheriff in the state, of
which there are 160, and of every
constable, of which there are 1700,
one in each militia district, to swear
out a warrant and to prosecute ev
ery violator of the motor wvehicle
law. lln other words, an army of
1,860 public officers is now charged
with the duty of enforcing this law,
not only as to tags, but as to every
other requirement,
