Our literary society is progressing
very nicely under the supervision of
our president Miss Bessie Dorminey,
We meet Friday afterncons and have
a very simple little program which we
all enjoy very much,

are, Myrtice Harden J. M, Dorminy,

Our Geometry class 1s doing some
real good work, we are proud to say.
Mr, Middlebrooks is getting his ath

Lorizantal bar and a long horizontal
bar for the small boys, where twelve
or fifteen may have the privilege of
exercising at the same time,
The Bth grade is doing some prac

Mrs, Gordon Prescott, Misses Ava

You should see the big pile of wood
we have now, It looks mighty good
these cold mornings,
But the question now is who is to
get it ready for the stove?
Look here boys! We sweep the
floor, wash the windows and look af
tee the room in general and we are
not kicking. We don’t want a janitor,
Now don’t you think it's up to you to
keep us warm while we are doing all
these things just to please you? ‘

Florence Dorminy,
Nelle Peterson.
Fvelyn Thornton.

Over 4,000 Bottles ot
In State of G i
AFTER SIX YEARS OF PHENOMENAL DEMAND, MAN
UFACTURERS STILL TAX ED TO LIMIT TO KEEP
PUBLIC SUPPLIED WITH GREAT TONIC
A little over six years ago in the city of Atlanta, the first bottle
of Tanlac was offered to Georgia people. The public was skeptical
at first. They just couldn’t believe the remarkable powers that
were claimed for this new medicine, but in a short time so many
local men and women, whose integrity could not be questioned,,
told in such sincere, straightforward statements of the wonderful
benefits they had received from its use that the truth of the claims
could no longer be doubted.
People all over Georgia, from Ra
bun Gap to Tybee Light began tak
ing Tanlac and testifying to its great
ness as a medicine. Before long Tan
lac had beeome a household word in
every city, town, village and hamlet
in the state and the manufacturers
were taxed to keep the druggists sup
plied with enough Tanlac to meet the
enormous demand,
The popularity of Tanlac contin
ued to grow from year to year as new
tests of its powers were made by the
people, until now the sales in Geor
gia alone have reached the phenomi
nal total of 753,552 bottles which is
at the rate of 126 000 bottles a year,
or over 4 000 bottles of Tanlac sold ev
ery working day to the people of
Georgia, Such a phenominal demand
for a medicine is absolutely without
a parallel, Nothing like it has ever
been seen before, but the reason for
it is very simple, and it can all be ex
plained in one word-—merit,
Contrary to popular opinion there
is no great mystery about Tanlac, ex
cept in so far as the chemistry of the
human body itself and what it does
with substances taken into it, is a
mystery, Some of the ingredients of
Tanlac have been known and used as
medicines for centuries. Others are of
more recent discovery, but every one
of them is of recognized therapeutic
value and used by the medical pro
fession everywhere, Tanlac is simply
v co-mingling of these medicinal el
ements in a way hitherto unknown and
which brings out their curative and re
constructive powers to a msot remark
able degree
Briefly, it allavs irritation of the
stomach, strengthens the digestive and
assimilative organs, builds up and
revitalizes the whole system_ and gives

the body new powers of resistance
and strength.. Gratifying gains in the
weight are not uncommon especially
where a person has suffered from un
der nourishment brought on by dys
pepsia, indigestion, illness, operation
or other causes,
It is a demonstrated fact in medical
science that the stomach is the start
ing point of most of the ills that af
flict the human body, and many of the
socalled diseases are not diseases at
all, but reflex symptoms of the stom
ach derangements and the weakened
condition of the body that naturally
follows. Some kinds of rheumatism,
gastritis, palpitation, nervousness, and
kidney disorders and liver complaints
are among the more.common troubles
developed through the stomach,
Scores of other diseases have been
traced to the same source.
Tanlac was made especially to over
come these stomach complaints and
the various so-called discases and the
svimptoms that follow them, but the
astonishing reconstructive powets re
vealed by it have not only astonished
the general public, but have some
what surprised even the originators of
the medicines themselves. Thousands
of letters reach the Tanlac offices from
all parts of North America telling of
remarkable’ results derived by people
who have suffered tor years without
heing able heretofore to find relief,
Naturally these remarkable achieve
ments have spread the fame of Tanlac
to all quarters of the continent, and
the demand for it has necessitated
working the laboratories night and
day,
Tanlac is sold in iFtzgerald by
T, J Haile & Co., and by leading
druggists everywhere, adv,
