of the Leader-Enterprise. A careful
reading of these advertisements of the
different firms of this city will save
money for the buyers. In addition there
is a contest feature that runs each week.
You may be the winner---who knows.
Careful reading will disclose several let
ters that are misplaced, and these prop
erly grouped will spell the mane of one
the leading merchants of the city. When
you have ascertained the identity of
this merchant write a letter to the un
dersigned telling briefly the reasons
why Fitzgerald citizens should trade at
that store.

School opened with full attendance
after Thanksgiving vacation.
Miss Stephens spent her vacation
at Eastman, Miss McMillan, Miss
Floyd, Mrs, Cooper, Mr. Middlebrooks
and Mr, Lamb at Thanksgiving din
ner at home,
We enjoy our new jacket heaters.
Our rooms are warm in every part,
Some members of our Geometry
class would do justice to any school,
A number of new pupils have en
rolled this week. We are badly con
gested but doing the best we can,
Cheerfulness in a school room is the
first cssential of a good school .we
think,
This is examination week and all
parties are busy,
The primary department keeps on
growing. The enrollment at present
is over one hundred,
The Fourth and Ffth Grades are
doing some excellent work in English
under Miss McMillan's supervision.
Miss Stephens, our primary teacher
is much pleased over her new *‘Sand
Table™ and is already making good
use of it. At present she has a graph
ic picture of the three wise men trav
eling in search of the star of Bethle
hem displayed on the table. Tt is
‘some study to keep 60 or 65 little ones
busy,
~ Mr. Middlebrooks our 7th grade
teacher feels confident that he has
some seventh grade students who
would be an honor to anvy school.
. They are doing excellent work,
. The first, second and third erades
along with their teacher Mrs. Cooper
and Miss /Stephens entertained the
intermediate and higher grades with
