The kind friends of Mrs. Ed Hus
sey who compose some ofthe Central
Methodist church circles paid her a
brief visit on. Monday afternoon just
before the - Circles convened ' and
brought her a number of pretty and
useful gifts in token of her contem
plated absence and trip to Asheville,
N. C,, in the interest of her health.
The shower was a complete surprise
to Mrs. Hussey and was a pretty
‘courtesy of the friends who will miss
her and who feel eoncerned in her
welfare. :
