than couglia’ colds, &e. and none more fatal ill their re

before they become too firmly seated upon the lungs.— :
Notwithstanding the many remedies that have been of

ceessful in procuring a certain and speedy relief.
The proprieter haying been an eye witness (for sever

Medicine. at length deems it his duty to offer it to the
public, i.i a way that it may receive a more extensive
circulation: and at a price that the poor may receive the
benefit of it as well as the rich.
Tlii3 syrup is particularly eflicatious in removing
coughs arising colds, attended with hoarseness and sore
ness abont the windpipe; likewise shortness of breath
ing, tightness acres the breaht, accompanied with a
tickling cough: and in all consumptive casts its use is

greatly relieved by its use —children laboring under this
distressing disease, in innumerable instances have been
astonishingly benefittedin a lew days: thepleaacntnees
of it is a great advantage, as children will take it w ith
as much pleasure as they will preserves.
