It ts One bf the Mo*t Popular and Pro gressive Roads In the South. You can’t keen the'Macon and North ern railroad down. While all the rail roads in the state are busy consolidat ing. the Macon and Northern is putting on fresh frills every day and improving its passenger service in a truly wonder ful manner. For quite a while the Macon and Northern has operated a through train service to the North and East via the Seaboard Air Line. The route has grown very popular and this last move will prove a finishing touch to the moat elegant passenger service out of Macon, Yesterday afternoon the pai*ens*r train came in with two handsome Pull man cars attached. They are the finest In the service nnd from now on will be carried by the Macon and Northern to un i fr., m Athens, where the cars are taken by the Seaboard Air Line on to the North. DEATH OP AN INFANT. Tho Six-months-old Child of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bryant Died Wednes day. On Wednesday the slx-months-old child of Mr. nnd Mrs. Charles Bryant, living on Boundary street, died of con gestion of tho brain, after quite a long sickness. Mr. Brynnt, who is an engineer on the Georgia Southern and Florida rail road, tvns telegraphed tor, but did not arrive before Uls little child died. The funeral took -place yesterday.
