number of her friends with an Im
promptu dance at her recently-occupied
residence. -752 Third- etreet, between
Otik and Fine rtredta. one night last
week.
The robins were thronged at an early
hour of the evening by a galaxy of
bearuty and grace, adorned <wfth exqute-
Ite costumes which vied admirably for
excettency and superiority which filled
the rooms devoted to danding during
the entire, evening, white the beautl-
fufly decorated narlbr and extensive ve
randa made a retreat flUed with cosy
comers for those of graver age or those
young folks sentimentally and conver
sationally declined.
On with the dance was the order of
the evening until the midnight hour
resounded from the (dock tower when,

Miron, sister to Mm. John B. Gllea,

home of her Bister on Anderson Street

flidted with a chronic ailment, causing
her much pain and which was patient

her sufferings.
The funeral took place from the resi
dence of: Mrs. Giles Thursday morning.
