will bo the last meeting and speaking
before the election, which takes place
on next Wednesday, and everybody in
the county is invited to bo present.

will introduce Hon. Robert Hodges,
Mr. Ben L. Junes will introduce lion.

be at Daly's store, on tho Houston
road.
In Vlnevllle tho speaking will he at
the commissary of the Manchester
Mills.
Each speaking will begin promptly at
8 o'clock and only sbprt addresses will
be made.
'Last night a meeting of the enm-
paign committees was held and a com
mittee, consisting of Messrs. Sid R.
Wiley, Minter Wimberly and Leo Her
rington, with power to appoint whom
soever they may desire to assist them,
was appointed to sqllolt subscriptions
for election purposes. These gentle
men will start out Monday morning
nnd call on, the Democrats of tlto coun
ty to atd in defraying the expenses of
the cfection. It is hoped they will
meet with n generous response, as nil
election cannot be conducted without
money. Every one cnUeil on should
contribute liberally. The Populists
will bankrupt themselves to reduce the
Democratic majority In Blbl>, and It
behooves the Democrats to fight them
over every Inch of ground. Be ready
for the committee when It calls.
