'The good people of South Macon have
for the laet few month* been considera
bly aggravated by the many petty dep
redations perpetrated within their boon-
fiariea by many petty thieves who night*
ly makes their visits to untrue unfortu

efopty handed. An effort to rcmo3y this
slate of affairs by special enactment by
l he legislature Is suggested by several
of the leading reeMenta, and It Is hoped
that the citizens in general will consult
together in the near future In regard to a
hill or resolution to be presented at the
next session of the general aswmbly t>y
cme of the representatives from Jlibb
jgotinty which will allow the engagement
of a special marshal or deputy to patrol
live suburb, thus Insuring protection to
some extent from the nerarlous acts of
there thieves.
