We lost .on last Friday one of our
eld eit'zens—Mr. John A. Hiors— who
died after a lingering sickness. At the
time of Ms death he was aged US yearn

LEESBURG LOCALS.
Leesburg, Oct. 30.—(Special.)—On
Sunday last at 12 o'clock Dr. A. B.
Duncan and Mrs. Eula P. Kimbrough
were -married at the residence of .Judg$
J. W. Eon-ester, In this city. Judge
Forrester’ officiated. Both bride and
groom are well established here, and
have the hearty .congratulations of a
host of friends in this community.
Quite a crowd of friends, young and
old, dined with Capt. F. M. Heath on
Thursday of last week, the occasion
being a birthday dinner given to Miss
Minnie Heath, a rising belle In thla
community. The most lntefesllng part
of tho programme was a line diamond
ling presented to her by her father.
The day was spent In social chat and
