Duncan both wore magnificent gowns of white stilt, made decollate; and Mrs. (Joorge Har ris wore an effective toilette of black nod yellow. The supper was an ele gant one nml daintily served by a num ber of Mrs. King's married friends. 'Hie reception was a very large one, nntl was thoroughly enjoyed by the many guests.
