Dr. George Braxton Taylor, for sev

church in this city, but who resigned

at the urgent request of the member
ship remained in charge for the pur

the church in calling another pastor.
It is not yet known when Dr. Taylor
will leave for his new home, but he
will remain a while longer in Order
not to leave the First Baptist without
a pastor.
Not only will the congregation of the
First Baptist church regret to see Dr.
Taylor leave Macon, but people of
every denomination, as ho lias made
many warm friends In Macon during
his residence here.
