The Southern Phosphate Works that

can be had end the plans drawn. This
was decided at a meeting of the directors
bt the company held yesterday afternoon
by the passage of the following reeoJu-
lion:
‘'Resolved, That It Is the determine

Southern Phosphate Works to rebuild tbs

the treasurer and general manager be
authorised to take Immediate steps to
protect the goods, pending an adjustment
of, ths losses by the insurance companies.

thorlsed at once to make such arrange*
for the continuance of the business of
the company by arranging for ths man<
uforturi* of Its well established brands ol
fertilisers.'*
Already a large force of hands has been
put to work removing the smouldering
debris of the burned phosphate works
and just as soon as this con be cleared
away and the new uiatorlail put on thp
ground the work of rebuilding will be<
