C. White of DeWltt is authority for tho
statement that the recent freezing

to the fruit growers of oouthwent Geor
gia, Mr. White says that only u small
percentage of the buds that had devel
oped to the blooming stage will be kill
ed. and that the freeze will cause the
sap to go down In the trees and retard
the further development of the bud*

thousands of doves were killed during
the day. ’This Is the first big dove shooe
